Off-grid solar power systems are known as SAPS- Standalone power system. An off-grid system is not directly connection to the electricity grid and that is why battery storage support is required. Off-grid systems will be designed in such a way so as to meet the electricity needs of a home for designated periods or even for the whole year. The battery capacity is determined on the amount of electricity usage. As this requires battery support, these cost a little more than the conventional on-grid solar systems.
